Materials published in the journal undergo internal and external peer review by members of the journal’s editorial board or experts in the relevant field of knowledge. Reviewing is done confidentially. In the сase of a negative review or significant comments, the article may be rejected or returned to the author for revision. If the author does not agree with the reviewer’s opinion, an additional independent review may be conducted at the decision of the Editorial Board. After the author makes changes in accordance with the reviewer’s comments, the article is signed for printing.

The editorial board has the right to refuse publication of manuscripts containing previously published data, as well as materials that do not meet the profile of the journal or research  was conducted in violation of ethical standards. The editorial board of the journal has the right to edit and abridge manuscripts without violating the author’s content. Rejected manuscripts are not returned to authors.

It is important that the article clearly defines the relevance of the problem, its significance, outlines the ways to solve it, and objectively and impartially analyzes the existing options for solving the problem.

Submission of the manuscript to the editorial office

According to the resolution of the Higher Attistation Commission , articles must include the following elements:

  1. General formulation of the problem and its connection with scientific or practical knowledge;
  2. Analysis of the latest research on the given problem;
  3. Formulation of the goals of the article;
  4. Description of the method and research results;
  5. Conclusions and prospects of research in this direction. 

The article structure should include: introduction, research method, results and their discussion, conclusions.

The manuscript of the article, including illustrations, captures to them, tables, a list of references, an abstract, should be submitted in electronic form.

The volume of the article (except review articles) should not exceed 25,000 characters with spaces, including a list of references, figures and captions to figures (required in Ukrainian and English) and tables.

A summary in English and Ukrainian of no more than 20 lines should be added to the article, which should contain specific results and be formulated with the words "obtained…", "shown…", "it follows from here…".

The computer layout of the abstract, prepared in the Microsoft Office Word 2003 for Windows XP editor (convert formulas for Math Type 5) and figures in *.tif or *.cdr formats, regardless of which editor they were executed in (only in black and white version ) is submitted to the editorial office. The article is sent by e-mail: journal.pcmm@gmail.com (as an attachment).

The article must be accompanied by an official reference letter signed by the head of the institution where the research was conducted. At the end of the article, all authors must sign, as well as indicate the address for correspondence and office and home phone numbers. A list of decoded abbreviations used in the text (if necessary) should be added to the article.

Requirements for the preparation of articles

The text of the article is typed on a sheet of A4 paper in the editor Microsoft Office Word 2003 for Windows XP (formulas are converted for Math Type 5).

Print: Times New Roman – 12 points; line spacing – one and a half.

On the first page, in the upper left corner, it is necessary to indicate the index of the paper according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDK), below – the title of the article (no more than 2 lines), below it – the initials and surnames of the authors. The next line is the name of the organization, city, country, e-mail of the corresponding author. The title of the article, the organization and the full name of the authors are provided in Ukrainian and English.

Next, it is necessary to submit an abstract (no more than 1,800 characters), where the main results of the research should be concisely stated, and keywords (no more than five to seven terms). 

The text of the article is typed in 12-point font with one and a half intervals

The article  structure should include: introduction, research method, results and their discussion, conclusions 

There should be no inscriptions in the figures. The English caption must be self-sufficient so that a reader who does not know the original language can understand from the caption what the figure illustrates. It is not allowed to duplicate the same data in tables, graphs, and the text of the article. Graphs with the same coordinates should preferably be made on the same scale.

To indicate values, use only letters of the Latin and Greek alphabets. All symbols must be explained in the text. Do not use indices in the form of the initial letters of a word, but replace them with numbers (for example, а0 instead of аinit.).

Physical values are indicated in SI units, using international symbols (Latin letters).

The list of references is submitted in the order of references in the original language, as indicated below:

An article submitted without compliance with editorial requirements will not be considered. The authors of the publication are responsible for the reliability of information, facts and information, references to normative acts, quotations and proper names.
