Research results and review articles which correrspond to the profile of the journal and have not been published before are accepted for publication.The journal presents the results of experimental and fundamental theoretical research on the following issues in the field of strength and fracture of materials:
- fracture processes, models of crack initiation and propagation;
- corrosion fatigue, stress corrosion , fretting-corrosion;
- effect of environments, in particular hydrogen and radiation, low and high temperatures;
- strength and durability calculation in the above conditions;
- strengthening technology, structure optimization and corrosion protection;
- non-destructive testing of defects and diagnostics.
