Abstract

An algorithm for implementing a mathematical model is proposed. This model characterizes the influence of hydrocarbon gas molecular weight and excess air coefficient, as well as various impurities in the natural energy carrier, on the temperature of combustion products in numerical and graphical form. The resulting dependencies allow for assessing the energy efficiency of using natural gas as a mixture of hydrocarbon energy carriers. For the first time, analytical studies have established patterns in the impact of non-combustible ingredients, which may be contained in natural gas, and its moisture content on the temperature of combustion products. The dependence of the temperature of hydrogen impurities in natural gas on the increase in combustion product temperature is assessed. The resulting dependences of combustion product temperature on the parameters and concentrations of impurities in natural gas can be used as criteria for the quality of natural gas as an energy carrier.
