Abstract
The theoretical principles of the radar method as well as the equation for remote monitoring of the corrosion state of reinforced concrete structures are developed. This equation is based on an electrochemical model of the corroded metal surface of reinforced concrete reinforcement. The method of such monitoring is proposed and the structure of nonlinear radar for its implementation is synthesized, in particular the optimal operating frequencies of the nonlinear radar for atmospheric transparency windows and the sizes of corrosive elements have been determined. The attenuation of the signal of a nonlinear radar when passing through concrete is estimated, taking into account its electric conductivity and dielectric permeability.
